After unsuccessfully searching for an educational health and safety podcast focusing on Occupational Hygiene, Mark created one, finding and hosting the 3M Science of Safety Podcast.

Producing a podcast is far from simple - coordinating guests, preparing content and editing. “It’s a lot of work and well worth the effort.”

Since broadcasting commenced in July 2018 Mark has discussed complex issues such as Silicosis, chemical exposure and formaldehyde in colloquial language.

Listeners regularly provide feedback that the podcast has helped their organisation review procedures, change and improve work practices and some listeners have even used the podcast to help them study for exams!
